What a beautiful day

It was so beautiful out today. We decided to go to the park with my mom. Farrah had so much fun running around, and sliding down the slides. This was Adra's first trip to the park, and although she slept the whole time, I could tell she loved it.


Farrah just can't help kissing Adra every chance she gets!

Just another day in paradise!

Adra is so sweet. Now she is spending more time awake, and it is so adorable to see her eyes open. We went to Skousen's today so Farrah got to play with the Allen kids again and Lilly....she loves playing with other kids. We had fun with Liana and Lilly, who are going back to Texas tomorrow, we will miss them. Farrah is talking more and more everyday. Her new words are "done", "two", "down", "juice", "bye bye" and many more.

Doctors Visit

Yesterday the girls had a doctors apt. Adra is 7lbs (which was her discharge weight) and Farrah is almost 25lbs! Both girls are healthy. Farrah had to get three shots, including the flu shot :( I hate when she has to get shots, it kills me. Adra lost her umbilical cord yesterday. Uncle Jay had a birthday dinner last night at his house. It was fun to see everyone, and the Allen's' got to meet Adra. Farrah has so much fun playing with the Allen kids.

Back to reality

Well Josh went back to work today. He took Monday and Tuesday off last week, and took off half days the rest of the week. It is hard juggling a nursing newborn and a demanding (but very sweet) toddler. Farrah is still not back on her regular schedule, which makes things harder. She refuses to nap, and no naps = grumpy girl! My mom came over this afternoon, and took Farrah out for a drive, and she took a short nap. Tomorrow both the girls have doctor appointments, so hopefully all will be well. Yesterday we went to my parents house and it was so beautiful outside, so there are some pics of Adra on the hammock.

Farrah was struggling getting her shirt off for a couple mins before we grabbed the camera. She has also been spinning a lot and falling down, or just falling down....she thinks it is so funny.

First Morning Alone

I survived my first morning alone...no Papi, no Nona, no Josh. Josh is executive secretary at church and has to leave every Sunday at 6:30am. My parents were nice to pick up Farrah to take her to church. So I had both girls this morning, and had to get Farrah ready for church.....and I did it. I just don't know how I will able to get Farrah, Adra, and myself ready for church (we leave at 8:30am)....but i am sure I will find a way. Adra is such a great baby....she is sleeping like an angel right now. She is taking longer naps now, which is great cause then I get to spend one on one time with Farrah. Farrah just adores her sister...every morning she can't wait to come in our room and kiss Adra. Also if Adra cries, Farrah has to make sure that she is ok. Pretty much life is perfect right now....I couldn't ask for more! My girls are just incredible little angels.
