Here is Dax on his real birthday.....poor baby was sick with a fever all day.
Saturday we celebrated Dax's birthday....we had a dinosaur theme.
Dino Dax
Farrah loved Dax's birthday hat.
It's party time!
Dax's Dinosaur cake.
I don't think these kids want cake....do you?
Dax did not want to wear the dino hat anymore!
He was so tired, but was a trooper and ate all his cake.
He just got to tired to feed himself.
I think for the next birthday, I am just going to give Adra a file of frosting....most of the kids didn't even touch the actual cake.
Present time.
Thanks everyone for all the great presents!
Dax's favorite present.....a bag of balls.
Adra's first smiley faces....although she said they were mad faces.
We made American flags. A great cutting exercise.

Kids say the BEST things.
Last Monday I planned a surprise birthday party (with my mom's help) for Joshua. He was very surprised.
The girls made this cabin for their Daddy.
Farrah's second day of ballet.
Aren't I lucky...this is how Dax looks whenever he runs to me.
Saturday morning we had a garage sale. It rained, so it wasn't a great turn out, but we did sell quite a few things. I was setting up Friday, and even without any signs up I had some people stop, and I sold $40 worth of stuff! We are going to have one this Friday too, and see if we get more people.
Don't worry, Dax is not for sale.
Saturday evening we celebrated Mason's 7th Birthday.
My sweet Farrah
Love my Family.
My sweet hubby.
Happy Father's day Dad!
Here are some cute things the kids are doing and saying:
Adra uses the word "because" instead of "so", for example: "I am tired because I am going too sleep"
Adra has recently started referring Josh as "Farrah's Daddy"
Adra tells me all the time that she is going to marry me, and Farrah is going to marry Daddy.
Dax can point to his teeth, when you ask him, "Where's Daxie's teeth?"
Farrah is obsessed with those "silly" bracelets, or whatever they are called. They are the best; they are small, cheap, and the girls can play with them for hours!
(I might have already posted this one)
While reassuring Farrah that I will be with her the whole time she is at the dentist she told me, That's OK mom, just drop me off, and give me your phone. I will call you when I am done." I them told her that she wouldn't be able to call me, because she would have my phone. The replied, "OK, well just wait in the car then."

Busy, busy week!
We have had a lot going on the last week or so.
Here Farrah is mixing some colored water, she then poured them in some fun ice cube trays. The next day we played with them in our little pool on the patio.
I have been trying to do more "school" time with Farrah lately. She really likes this activity, forming letters out of corn (dyed red) and sticks.
My garden is growing and growing! (This was taken 2 weeks ago.....it is much, much bigger now)

This is membership week. We got memberships to the YMCA and to the Zoo!Here we are at Members Night at the zoo.
Adra loves snakes....what are we going to do with this girl.
Josh installed a second shelf in our garage. We told Farrah it was her new bed, she was concerned.
We painted Dax's room. Now I need to finish his curtains. So many projects, and I have no time because I have three kids!
This is the dinosaur bobble head (actually it is a dragon) that I painted for Josh's birthday.
We have been on a big watermelon kick.
Last week they had 99¢ coney's at gold star......dinner anyone? This was the girls first Gold Star experience.
My parents have thousands of tiny baby toads hopping around their property. The girls have had fun catching them.
Farrah had her first ballet class last week. She was so excited! Adra was so excited for her too.
Here she at class.
At the end of class the parents get to come in and take pictures and video's, and the girls get to dance for us. So precious!

Right after ballet we headed for Indiana.
After the four hour trip we got settled and then headed to the sprinkler park.
It took Dax a little while to get used to the sprinklers.

We were sitting on the patio one day, and these two robins chased this hawk right into Adra! Crazy, I know. It was a little stunned, and stayed on the deck for a little while. The girls loved it, of course.
We had a little surprise party for Josh. He had no idea.
I painted Josh this dragon "dinosaur" bobble head...isn't it cute.
There's my kids.
Dax loves playing "Where's Dax?"

We finally went to Holiday world with the Childress's.....Papi's company goes every year, and this was the first year we got to go. It was so much fun. This girls had a blast riding tons of rides. Josh and I rode two roller coasters, and a drop zone ride.
Dax did so good, he didn't get to ride any rides, but he loved getting pushed around in the wagon.
On the train ride.
Adra at lunch showing us how she eats her ice cream with her really long tongue.
First roller coaster for the girls. Anabelle didn't want to ride it, and I think she made the right choice, it was fast and jerky. It goes around twice, but the girls got off after the first one. Too scary!

At one point all the kids were asleep....that when the grown ups got to ride rides.
Dax loves his two fingers, and sharing them is how he shows love.
