Lunar Eclipse

Last night we watched the Lunar eclipse...it was pretty neat! I also saw my first shooting star...and then a saw a second one shortly after that! (I really did Josh!) My mom saw two also, but she see's shooting stars all the time! We are heading home tomorrow....and I am not looking forward to the plane ride at all! We have a layover this time, so we have to change planes, which will not be fun. We all can't wait to see Josh/daddy. Tuesday night we went to Aunt Linda's house and had dinner....it was delicious! Wednesday we went shopping at the mall, and the girls were so good!

I am the giant in the middle. (How did i get to be so tall, when the rest of my family are shrimps! hehe)

What a pretty day!

Yesterday was so pretty here, and we played outside. Here are some pictures.

"SNAKE!" (Anytime Farrah sees something long a skinny she cries "snake, snake!") Earlier in the day she held the worm, but i didn't get a picture of it.

Happy Valentines's Day

We are still in Washington having a lot of fun, but we miss Daddy terribly! Daddy surprised us by hiding little Valentine's in our suitcases (very sweet and thoughtful of him). Yesterday we went out to eat at the Rainforest Cafe, which was a lot of fun. Animated animals are everywhere, huge elephants, crocodiles, snakes, monkeys, butterflies and also huge aquariums were scattered throughout the restaurant. Farrah loved looking at them all the animals, but the snake scared her a bit. We bought her a little monkey and a long snake! (Farrah is obsessed with snakes, she is scared of them, but likes them at the same time (like the werewolf!))
Oh and the one picture of Farrah rubbing her eyes, look at her nails....I painted them on Thursday for the first time....and she loved it!

Washington

We made it! Our plane from Dayton to Minniapolis (at 7am) was cancelled so the airline found another flight we could catch, Cinicinatti to Washington (which worked out better because it was nonstop). We repacked all the stuff and babies back in the car and drove down to Cincy to catch the plane. The girls did well on the plane. Mom and I could not sit in the same row, because of the air masks (only four in a row, so two infants are not allowed in the same row). Luckily the airline blocked the seat next to us, so mom and I both sat in the window seat, and we had lots of room (which we used a lot with Farrah!) Adra had 2 blow outs on the plane and mom changed her both times in her seat. I took Farrah in the bathroom with me to change her diaper. Luckily she was only wet because I had to change her standing up because there was no changing station! Gramma and Grampa were there to great us as we arrived. We have had a lot of fun since we got here. It is a LOT warmer here then in Ohio, so we have played outside a lot. Farrah loves being outside, and has had a ton of fun splashing in the many puddles around Gramma's house. She got soaking wet she splashed so much! Adra is a good as can be and is getting a lot of attention.

Hair pull, werewolf

I forgot to mention in that last post that the poor girls have been sick this week. I took them to the doctor on Monday and Farrah has a bad cold and Adra has an ear infection.....poor babies (so they have been out of sorts lately). My parents have also been sick (my dad is functional, my mom isn't). Anyways Farrah is now 27 lbs, what a big girl (they didn't measure Adra)

Just relaxing, while my people wait on me....peel more grapes!

Adra is quite the hair puller. Whenever she manages to get a hold of her sisters hair, Farrah very patiently says "HAIR, HAIR", and then I free her from her sisters death grip. I give it another month and I will be bald!

MAGNUM!

The other day I decided to clean out Farrah's toy chest to gather up all of the little toys that fell to the bottom of it....and while doing this Farrah spotted the werewolf. She is very curious/scared of this creature. Here is a video of Farrah slowly getting used to the werewolf that she has been afraid of for quite some time now. (There is a previous video on the blog with Farrah trying to touch the werewolf)

YEAH GIANTS!

Sunday was the super bowl and we went to my parents house to watch it. On saturday we went to jungle jims (a really cool one of a kind grocery store) and stocked up on tons of snacks. We only ate a small portion of all the goodies! I made a cake (as you can see in the pictures below) It was fun to make....and it tasted great (although it looks like a toddler made it!)

YUM! I love frosting!

I can't believe these deals!
