Adra's a month old!

Sleepover!

My parents were over last night, my dad working on some electrical stuff, and my mom came to help me de-clutter my house! Well when they were done mom offered to take Farrah home with them for a sleepover, and so we let her. It is very weird not having her here when we woke up! It has been such an easy going morning, but honestly i miss the "stress" of having to juggle the two girls! And i really miss my morning kiss and hug from farrah! I haven't heard anything from my mom yet, i really wonder if farrah let her sleep at all. Farrah seems to be partial to her own crib, and hasn't had much success sleeping anywhere else!

Adra's Church Debut

Today was Adra's first day at church.....and we survived! It was a little hectic trying to get both girls ready, as well as myself.....but we managed. Adra has been sleeping a lot more at night...last night she slept from 9:30 to 3am, so i felt very rested! Farrah has been having some rough nights lately, last night she was up more then Adra was. I think she is waking up because she has a molar coming in as well as two other teeth, and they are very painful! Farrah is talking more and more and more. Last night we made a list of words she knows and it is more then 30! She is such a smart little girl. Josh and I are so lucky!
Also Farrah is such a little observer....and mimics pretty much everything she sees. her newest thing is that she wants to nurse Adra! She will point at Adra and say "num nums" and then sit down, put a pillow on her lap, lift up her shirt and reach for Adra and we will put Adra on her lap and she will try to get Adra to nurse!.....it is the sweetest funniest thing!

We went shopping yesterday, and we found these cowboy boots and farrah just loved them, and i loved the price ($4.99) so we bought them and she couldn't wait to start wearing them! She loves to shop....i am in trouble!
Adra is doing great.....the other night though she did not want to sleep....i stayed up with her till 5am! it is amazing how you can function on so little sleep!

Good Morning

Things are going well here. Farrah has a cold and is teething big time, so she has been a little grumpy and sleepy. Adra always can make Farrah smile though, unless i am nursing her and she urgently needs something. Farrah is talking more and more, and will try to repeat anything you tell her to say. I can't believe that Adra is already 3 weeks old! Time is really flying by!
I love being a mom so much.

Happy Halloween!

Yesterday was so fun. First of all, Josh surprised me by taking a half day off work and coming home at 1pm. We gave Adra her first real bath...which was a two person job, because farrah wanted to watch. Adra seemed to like it ok. Then we went to Laurel and Brandon's house for dinner and we trick or treated in their neighborhood. The moms and grandams took the kids out. Farrah was shy at first, but in the end i was getting her to say "trick or treat", she was so cute. She wanted to eat the candy right away, and kept stopping to look in her pumpkin at all the candy.
