This morning Mom called and Farrah took the phone and was talking her ear off, well mom asked Farrah what Sissy was doing, and Farrah answered "Sissy eating mommy"...the cutest thing ever!!!! (I was obviously nursing Adra at the time). She is so sweet. Also she has been talking on her play phones all day today, and keeps saying "I got to shower, ok, bye, much (meaning "love you"), she is such a little personality! I love that little girl so much, and I love her beautiful little sister too!

On Tuesday of last week Adra went to the doctor for her check up. She was 14lbs and 26inches long. Kirby and Molly came to visit us from Friday to Saturday. On Friday we were all sitting around in the family room, Adra was climbed up on Joshua's feet and was standing there holding on, and then decided to let go! She stood up for about 5 seconds! She is determined to stand up and walk to catch up with her sister. Also her first tooth broke through that same day, you have to really look to see it....but it is there, and there are lots more to come!
On Saturday we put both Farrah and Adra in the big bath together. They were so cute, and Adra really liked it, she sat and played with toys and crawled around and climbed up her sister.
Here are some videos of Farrah signing....she loves to sing, and has learned a lot of songs from being in nursery at church. She usually sings the last word in each line....it is so sweet!
Daddy is in Mexico this week until Thursday....we miss him so much already!
Forgive my singing!

Florida
Tuesday night we drove down to Louisville to stay with Hope and BC, and on Wednesday we were off to Florida (Suzanne, Clyde, Molly, and Kirby met us in Louisville). Wednesday was a long day for us and the girls....a long day full of driving. We made plenty of stops so that the three girls could stretch their legs and get diaper changes. We stopped Wednesday night and stayed in a hotel, about an hour away from our destination, Fort Walton Beach!
Thursday morning we got to our condo, after making a quick stop at the grocery. We spent the day on the beach. It was beautiful. At first Farrah was very scared of the sand and the ocean. Nona and Pappi took her on a walk down the beach where she saw some young boys playing in the ocean on floaties....and she started saying "Too, too!" So she soon was running in and out of the water.

On Friday we spent the morning on the beach. Hope, Molly and I had our daily Twilight discussions (Hope was reading Twilight, for the fourth time!, I was reading New Moon for the second time, and Molly was reading Eclipse for the first time). Farrah loved the pool, and loved trying to swim! She would go to the side of the pool and count to four and then jump in (of course someone was there to catch her). Farrah is getting good at counting, she can count to ten now, with a little help!

We then got ready and went out to dinner. After dinner we went to The Track, which has a putt putt course, and a bunch of little amusement rides. The girls all went to the rides part while the men went to play putt putt. Anabelle and Farrah got their first taste of amusement rides. We first road the carousel (when Farrah saw it she was in awe!) Then Molly took both the girls for a train ride. And then the girls rode the swing! They were some very exciting firsts for both girls! They loved it!
Saturday we went to the outlet malls, and then went out on the Pier, I didn't take too many pictures because that was when David called! It was pretty neat, I was in Florida, my parents were in Ohio, and David was in Austria, and we were all talking on the phone! It was great to hear his voice. Farrah was asleep for most of the time he was on the phone, but she woke up near the end and talked just a little bit. Me miss him so much, but we are so proud of what he is doing.
Sunday we went home. We left at 10am and got home at 1am! It was a long day, but the girls did such a great time in the car!

Playdate and Morning Interview
Brighton was blessed yesterday at church, and Pilar and Shane had a Bar-b-q to celebrate afterwards. Farrah had fun playing with Azden!! We are leaving for Florida Wednesday morning, so I will be posting some fun sunny pictures when we get back (we get back Sunday night, but I probably won't be able to post pictures till the beginning of the week). Here are a couple videos of the girls this morning. Adra loves talking and signing, and well, just making noise. Here is my usual "morning interview" with Farrah (she always wakes up and wants to talk, talk, talk!)

Flat Tire and Steak!
On Friday we went to Louisville (surprise, surprise!). We went to celebrate Clyde's birthday. Well, thirty minutes into the drive, Josh and I are surprised by a really load noise....it sounded like we passed some sort of noisy construction site....but we didn't. We soon realized that our tire blew out!
We were in the far left lane on 71, and had to make it over to the other side of the highway. We made it to an exist. There we proceeded to try and figure out how to change the tire. Josh figured out that the tools to change the tire are stored under the back seats (GENIOUS!) so we had to get the girls out of the backseat, and unhook the car seats. Mind you that we are on the side of a very busy highway. So I stayed in the front with the girls and Josh went to try and get the spare down. We are parked so that traffic is coming to the left of us (on the highway) and to the right of us (exiting). It was very noisy and scary! Well Josh had no luck with the spare, so we decided to drive down the exit and see if there was any place that could help us, or at least park in a parking lot to fix the tire. Amazingly there was a tire discounters just a block from the exit. We get there and Josh runs in. They have our tire, and they fix it in like 10 minutes. AMAZING! Josh tells me later (once we get back on the road) that we got there one minute before they closed! What a blessing! A horrible thing like getting a flat tire, turned into such a blessing, and even though we were running a little late, Josh and I felt so good, and grateful, and happy! Well we got to Louisville, and on Saturday we had a nice steak dinner. Adra had some too, and really liked it! (There is a video of it below).

Suzanne got Clyde a Wii, so we all had fun taking turns playing the different sports games (of course the guys liked the golf game best!). That thing is so fun and addicting! The girls liked watching us play.
We came home Saturday night. Sunday I had a teacher appreciation linger longer for Primary, which went very well, I had to teach the teachers how to effectively teach with the spirit. My mom came back from Washington Saturday night, but we didn't get to see her till Sunday. Monday Mom and I spent the day shopping....it was a lot of fun, and the girls did so well! Tuesday I finally spent my last year mother's day gift card, and got a Facial at Hausfeld's Spa, and it was amazing! Wednesday the girls got their pictures taken at Portrait Innovations....they did so well. Farrah was shy at first, but soon got into it, and loved posing and getting her picture taken. The pictures are amazing! I couldn't stop smiling because I was afraid Farrah would freak out (like she did at her 1 year pictures). The pictures are seriously the most beautiful things I have ever seen...the girls did so good. I got pictures of them separately and pictures of them together.....they are so gorgeous!
Thursday I went to the dentist (the first time in four years!) Amazingly my teeth are good, I just need to get one filling replaced today. Well that was our busy week! Adra on Wednesday got a fat lip. She tries to climb the stairs and hit her mouth on the banister....she is ok though. In this picture she is sneezing, but it is a good picture of her poor lip (luckily she did this after the pictures were taken!)
