Well it is back to reality here at the Childress home. Joshua went back to work today. It is time to catch up on laundry and other cleaning.
Christmas and New Years flew by so fast! We spent Christmas at home, the girls opened presents here and then we went to my parents for Christmas #2. We were all spoiled at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The girls got a kitchen, fully equipped with lots of dishes and food. Farrah loves it. It took Joshua 5.5 hours to put the thing together (he didn't finish until 2:30 in the morning!). Joshua and I were surprised with a Wii! We spent the rest of the day at my parents and then had dinner at Aunt Jan and Uncle Jays house.
Friday morning we left and headed to Indiana. We had Christmas #3 on Saturday morning with Joshua's family. We also got to meet Samuel Eli, who is so precious. You forget how small newborns babies are! Farrah and Adra both adored him! We had a great Christmas, and Joshua and I are trying to recover from the toys that are now overflowing our house!

I didn't realize it until now, but I didn't take a lot of pictures!

Farrah decided it would be fun to cover Anabelle with clothes.....Anabelle looks amused!
This was the only picture I have from New Years Eve (and Nona took it!) I am so pitiful!
My parents had a New Years Party at there house, and we had fondue for dinner. I was so much fun and the food was delicious!
Pregnancy updates: I am unfortunately still sick, which somewhat attributes to the lack of pictures.

Can't believe it!
Well a lot of you know this, but I haven't officially announced it on the blog. Joshua and I are expecting our third bundle of joy......yes I am pregnant!
Yesterday I got an ultrasound to find out a due date. I am due July 7th 2009. Here are some pictures of our little baby.
They aren't the best pictures, since I am only 11 weeks along....but it was so great to see this little baby, and she moved around the whole time. I have been pretty sick lately, and you kind of forget that it is because you are growing a baby inside of you......it is all worth it when you see that little baby!
In the picture below you can't see the babies head, she had it curled to the side. This was my first 4D ultrasound (I didn't even know that I was going to have one!) It was really neat!
Some of you might be wondering....."Are you guys crazy!" (since we have a 2 year old and a 1 year old!). Honestly this baby was the biggest surprise of our life. I have been really nervous about having THREE babies, but I know everything will be amazing. Farrah and Adra just adore each other, and I know they will adore this new baby as well. Farrah just loves babies, and whenever we get to see baby Piper, she doesn't want to leave her side. Adra will honestly probably be a little jealous....she is such a mommy's girl, but I know she will be crazy about the baby too.
Well that is our big news.....I am just hoping this morning sickness will be over in a week.....I am dying!!!!
Janine is pregnant too, and is due two days after me.....we have been exchanging nausea remedies! Thanks for your advice Janine....it is so nice having someone to talk to who is in the same boat you are in!

Mexico/Indiana
Last week Joshua had to go back to Mexico, so the girls and I went to Indiana.
Farrah found Nona''s reading glasses and she decided she needed to wear them to do her "homework".
We got to go to Papi's Christmas party at work, and the girls got to sit on Santa's lap. They served 2 inch pork chops! Farrah asked Santa for a Sleeping Beauty doll and he gave her one! She was so excited. Adra got a movie and a Pooh Bear.
Adra loved up on all the boys - she is such a flirt!
Farrah's face when Santa came in!
The girls drinking hot chocolate bottles.
Updates:
I forgot to mention before, I have finally weaned Adra! It was kind of by accident - Thanksgiving was very busy and I didn't nurse her the whole day, so I decided to wean her. She did really well, considering we was addicted to nursing!
Yesterday Joshua and I were giving Farrah the thumbs up and she looked at us and smiled and tried to give us a thumbs up but ended up flipping us off.....it was so funny.
Here is a cute video of Adra taken a couple weeks ago. She was so tired, but also very hungry!

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was held at my parents this year. The crowd included us; my parents; Jan, Jay and Paul; Nola; Laurel, Brandon and their kids; Brandon's parents; Stacy and Carl and their girls. We had so much fun, and our girls had a ball playing with all the kids! Including our two girls there were 9 kids! Farrah had the most fun playing with Ava, and Nadia (they are all very close in age). Those girls played "house" Ava was the mom, Nadia was the big sister, and Farrah was the little sister. They walked around the house holding hands, taking naps, reading books, going to the doctor.....it was so sweet.....unfortunately I didn't get any video of them :(
Here is our yummy meal!
The little girl table - Mia, Nadia, Livy, and Farrah
Farrah enjoying the whipped cream!
Adra dug right in to the pie!
My mom bought this Farrah sized snowman, and Farrah of course loves to play with it, and she showed it to all the girls. We got some pictures of the girls with it.....it was a struggle to get them all to look at us.
I love this picture - Adra kept pulling the buttons on Mia's shirt.
Now attack the snowman!
Farrah got to play outside for a little bit
Spongebob time!
Words cannot express how cute this picture is! Adra just adores Kerrin.
On Friday we went to Greenville to celebrate with Josh's family. I am not sure why but I didn't take any pictures! We had a lot of fun visiting though. The girls unfortunately did not sleep at all Friday night, making me one grumpy mom the next day. Saturday after lunch we headed home. Overall it was a great break - it just went by too fast!

Joshua's family came over on Friday, and Friday night, Hope, BC, Joshua, and I went and saw TWILIGHT! We went to an 11pm show at a really nice theater, and there were only like 30 other people in there with us! The guy that worked there said that every single show had sold out except the 11pm showing, so we were happy! When we got there, there was a mile long line to get into the 10:30 show.
Ok, the movie definitely had some disappointing parts in it, but I am trying to not let those bother me too much. Overall I LOVED the movie. Robert did an amazing job playing Edward. I really was pleased with all the cast except for Jacob and Sam. There were definitely a lot of parts in the book that I thought needed to be in the movie, but what can you do. The part where Edward shows Bella what he looks like in the sunlight was really poorly done, not only the special effects, but how he showed her - nothing like it was in the book. Joshua has read the books and I didn't think he was going to like the movie, but surprisingly he liked it a lot. I really want to go see it again soon! The next day we just kept thinking of more scenes that should have been in the movie, but we know you can't put a whole book into a 2 hour movie.
On Saturday we went to Christmas in Springboro, and it was freezing. We got there a little late for the parade. Usually after the parade is over we walk around and eat some of the yummy food, but we were too frozen so we left right after the parade. Farrah loved it so much, and she got tons of candy! When we got in the car Farrah looked at me and said "My love the parade". It was worth freezing for that! It was funny because Farrah was like the younger brother in "A Christmas Story", she couldn't really put her arms down....but at least she was warm.
Anabelle slept through the whole thing.

Happy Birthday to Me!
Happy Birthday Mommy from Chelsea Childress on Vimeo.
Today is my birthday......I am 25 today! I really don't like having my birthday on a weekday. I wish Joshua could be home with me all day. Unfortunately not only does Joshua have to work, but he has to work really late. He is sad, I am sad.....but what can you do. He gave me my present this morning. He got us tickets to see Wicked! I am so excited, I have wanted to see this for forever! We are going to see it on our anniversary in Louisville. I really can't wait. I love him so much! I am being lazy today. I really should be doing laundry and cleaning, but I figure I can take the day off. Well not a complete day off....I still have two little babies that need to be fed, and Adra hasn't learned to change her own diapers yet. I love those girls so much....I am so lucky! Well Farrah is begging for more food so I got to go.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes!
