Two posts in a day

I just have to warn you, the pictures below are the most beautiful pictures in the whole universe. It may hurt your eyes to stare at them for too long, because your eyes are probably not used to seeing something so breathtaking. Seriously, I have to warn you, my little 3 year old is too beautiful for words!
The girls got their pictures taken today, but it ended up that only Farrah got them taken.....Adra did not want anything to do with it. We did get one decent picture of her (out of the two that were taken). She screamed, and screamed. I hope to get pictures of Adra when the baby is 3 months old (she will be 2 then), and then I can get the babies 3 month pics, Adra's 2 year pics, and then a picture of all three of my babies. So hopefully by October she will get over this fear of getting her photograph taken. What drives me crazy is that she loves getting her picture taken at home, and after we were done with our session she kept trying to get in the middle of other people getting their pictures taken.....she is one of a kind!
Farrah did amazing....as you can tell from the pictures. She is a natural in front of the camera!
(Just so you know these pictures are not cropped or anthing....the printed ones are better)

Here is a sample of the pictures

Marker, more marker, wedding, Mothers day

It has been awhile. The girls are still cute as ever (however I have not been taking pictures lately). I have been working on organizing my pictures and videos on the computer and catching up on backing up all that information (I would die if we lost all our pictures and videos!). That has kept me pretty busy, as well as running around after my two wild girls, who are presently wrestling each other....funny! I am now 32 weeks along in my pregnancy....I really can't believe that! I feel pretty good, just get tired out easily. I unfortunately have high blood pressure, so I am going to the doctor every week now, which is a big pain! I had preeclampsia with Farrah, so my blood pressure was high pretty much the whole pregnancy. With Adra it was high the last month. The doctor is just being extra cautious because it went high when I was 30 weeks, and they just want to keep a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't get any higher. The solution to having high blood pressure while pregnant is to rest, which is hard to do when you have two toddlers running around your house all day.....needless to say I get to rest infrequently.
Adra is like a wild animal, you really have never seen anything like her! She is a climber, and looks for trouble to get into constantly. My job is to keep this girl alive, because she is a little daredevil! See the picture below. She keeps Joshua and I very busy!

Farrah also likes to find trouble. Her latest incident is that while I was showering (Adra was napping) she found a permanent marker at the back of the computer desk and decided it would be fun to draw all over the keyboard, mouse, and computer screen! I was in shock when I saw what she did. I wish I would have taken a picture of it, but I was trying to get it clean as quickly as I could. I told Farrah, amazingly very calmly, to go to time out. She could tell I was really upset and didn't argue with me, and went and sat on the stairs and didn't make a sound. I searched on the web how to get permanent marker off of LCD screens, and found toothpaste was the best cleaning agent. Amazingly it worked. We have a Mac, and as you know the screen is your computer, you don't have a tower, so it wasn't like we could just go and buy a new screen, we would have to buy a new computer! Ahhhhhhh, kids, where do they come up with this stuff! It took about 20 minutes to find how to and then clean the computer. Farrah staying in time out the whole time without complaint (which has never happened). When I told her to come over to me she looked sad and said she was sorry and gave me a kiss and a hug. Usually I have to practically beg to get her to say "I'm sorry". I of course couldn't stay mad at that angel. We just had a nice talk about NOT writing on the computer!
The girls have also found joy in drawing on themselves with marker (luckily not permanent marker!) See the picture below.

We went to a wedding on Saturday. Joshua's friend from high school, Drew, got married. We had my parents watch the girls, and had such a fun night. Joshua was happy to reunite with some high school friends. Pictured below: Josh, Joshua, Drew and Eric. Eric and Joshua got talking about running, and due to Eric's advice Joshua signed up to run a 10K in August. He has a training schedule and is excited to start running again.

We got home late Saturday night, and then had to get up early Sunday morning for church. After church we went to my parents where my dad made us a great meal, and Joshua took charge of the girls so I could relax. I felt sick also, which kind of ruined the day for me....who wants to feel sick when they are getting "time off". Joshua surprised me yesterday when he came home from work with these flowers. He is such a great man, and then he cleaned the kitchen up for me (it was a big task!). I felt sick yesterday too, but fortunatley feel better today.

House update......they have staked out the perimeter of the house. You can practically visualize it! I am so excited about this house. Not that I want to wish the summer away, but I can't wait until Sept/Oct to come. I want to move into this house!

Our Park

Last week we found "our park". The park is so perfect for the girls, and there are hardly ever any people there. There is a little pond where kids can fish and you can also feed the fish with bread. Joshua and I decided to go after he got home from work, since it is supposed to rain for the next couple of days. The girls had a blast.

Adra feeding the fish

There are tons of baby fish that are waiting to be fed.

Here is a video of the girls feeding the fish......I have never seen anything like this.

What a weekend

Tomorrow I will be 30 weeks.....wow! This pregnancy has just flown by.
This weekend flew by. We had such perfect weather, sunny and in the 80's. We spent most of the time outside at my parents house.
I didn't take too many pictures, because I was too busy playing. But here are some. Farrah prefers to be naked when she is outside, that is why I don't have too many pictures of her on here.

Adra slipped and fell in my parents house and busted her lip open. This morning she fell down three stairs and landed on a toy, and did it again! Poor baby!

Crazy Girls

Here are some videos taken earlier in the month

I am laughing when Farrah hurt herself in the video below....it is only because I can tell by the way she is crying that she in not hurt.....I am not heartless

Adra says "milk", that is how she says "more"

Phone Call

I was bad at taking pictures this past weekend. We had beautiful weather and spent Saturday playing at my parents house. Farrah ran around outside all day naked. She had a lot of fun peeing on the grass (and occasionaly the deck!). Her little bottom got a little sun burned. It was hot enough that we even got the pool out....Farrah LOVED it. Adra liked to play in the water but didn't like going in the water.

Here is a video of Adra talking to Farrah on the phone. On Monday Farrah goes with Grandma to the library for story time, and yesterday she wanted to go play at Grandma's house afterward. She spent the whole day there, and Adra missed Farrah so much (Farrah had a lot of fun, but I think she missed Adra a lot too).

I am so excited/nervous about moving. We havn't even broken ground yet, and I am a little panicked about it. We hope to break ground the end of May or beggining of June. We are not moving far from where we are now....just about five minutes away. I can not believe how much stuff we have accumulated in the past three years that we have been living in the condo - and we are going to have to pack it all up!

Here are our house plans.....I just LOVE the house!
Here is the first floor....the only difference is that we are adding a Breakfast Box Bay in the breakfast area, so that will be a little bigger. The flex room is going to be used as a play room. There are no doors in that room, which is great, the kids can play in there and I can hear and see them constantly. Joshua is so excited about that room also because that means no toys in the Great Room.

Notice the laundry room on the second floor....that is my FAVORITE part. The girls will be sharing Bedroom #2 and the baby boy will be in Bedroom #3. We will most likely put our computer in the loft and of course I am sure there will be more toys in there too. Joshua and I are also very excited to have his and her closets and our own bathroom!

Here is the exterior

Joshua and I went and picked out our cabinets, floors, counter tops, etc. last week. It was so much fun, and we can't wait to see what it looks like finished.
