Unexpected Post

So I decided I would load my pictures on my computer so I would have enough room on the memory card to take lots of pictures and video for Halloween....and I was surprised by how many pictures were on there, so I am going to do a quick post.

The girls painted some little pumpkins

Adra thought it would be more fun to paint her face. Here is a picture of Farrah trying to clean her face off.

We had some really pretty days last week, so the kids and I walked (they rode, I walked) to the big park.

I got a recipe for salt dough out of this months Family Fun magazine. It uses natural ingredients to color the dough. I did pink, which uses hot beet juice, and orange which uses paprika and hot water. I was really pleased with the pink dough, it turned out to a beautiful color. I was afraid because it had beet juice in it that it would stair their hands, but it didn't.

Here is my handsome little boy after church on Sunday

On Monday we did muffin tin meal. There is a blog dedicated to doing meals in muffin tins on Monday's. We tried it out, and Farrah just loved it. We did hot dogs, string cheese, grapes and pretzels. I am going to find some longer toothpicks so they can do kabobs with them. We had a fun lunch that day!

Last night was Trunk or Treat at our church, where you trick or treat at peoples car's in the church parking lot, and lot of people decorate their cars too. Afterwards was a Halloween carnival, which really intimidated the girls, because there were a ton of kids, mostly bigger then them, all dressed up....I would be intimidated too at their age! But they did have fun, even though they were a little shy. Farrah colored a picture, played putt putt and did the bean bag toss. Adra was pretty much out of it the whole time....It didn't start until 7pm, and she has been going to bed at 7:30pm.

Happy Birthday Adra!

On the 13th Dax rolled over from his back to his tummy.....what a big boy!

Here is another video of Adra in the car.....what a funny girl!

Last week we walked to the park and the girls liked pushing Dax in the swing. The park is close, but I took the single stroller, and Dax got to ride in it.....so the girls had to walk, and it was a long walk for them. On the way back from the park I put Adra and Dax in the stroller and then gave Farrah a piggy back ride.....so the walk home was very long for me!

This boy is such a heart breaker!

My grandparents were in town the last 10 days. The girls had fun with them. I only took these two pictures of them though! They are considering moving to Ohio, which we hope they will. I know the kids would love to see more of them and we would too, and that would be so easy if they lived 10 minutes away, instead of across the country!

Farrah loves for me to take her picture, and this time she wanted me to take pictures of her making funny faces......I think she is trying to practice to get as good as Kirby. When I fix her hair, she loves to look in the mirror and make a bunch of different silly faces. She is getting so grown up. This girl is so smart and funny, and just says and does the cutest things. She watches everything, and pays attention to everything. The other day GG was pretending to give Dax a french fry and Farrah was playing at the table and looked like she was in her own little world, but she looked at GG after she said that and said, "Dax can't eat that, he doesn't have any teeth yet.". She also reminds me all the time that I can't eat milk because it will make Dax sick, she especially reminds me when she is eating cheese or yogurt, that I am not allowed to eat it.

Adra found the leftover icing from her cake.....yummy.

Adra's birthday was on Thursday, but we didn't tell her, because we celebrated it on Sunday....so here are the pics from her birthday!
Birthday girl!

Here is the cake I made for Adra. She wanted a princess cake, so I decided to make a princess castle cake. I was able to hide it from her until her birthday, she was so excited and just loved it, and couldn't wait to eat it!

Adra got lots of presents....thank you to everyone!

Party time!

Adra had a great birthday, and she loved all the presents, and attention she got. I am so thankful for this sweet little girl, and I can't believe she is two already, time passes by so fast! I love her with all my heart!

Monday was a beautiful day, and so the girls got to play in their back yard for a little while.

When Joshua came home from work we went to a pumpkin patch with Nona and Papi.

Farrah just loved this "magical carriage" (that is what she called it). She wanted to go in it so bad, but of course there was a sign saying that you couldn't go in or on it!

Farrah didn't want to do anything but look in the the carriage where Cinderella's slipper was!

WOW those are some big pumpkins!

Adra had so much fun! (She had a couple grumpy spells because she was hungry and tired, but overall she had a great time....there was so much to see!)

Dax finally woke up!

Now we get some family pictures!

This one (below) is my favorite!

After the pumpkin patch we went to my parents to see my Grandma and Grandpa, and say goodbye to them. They left this morning and so did Nona and Papi. Today is a cleaning day. I have to catch up on my laundry....but of course blogging is more fun then laundry.

Pumpkin girls

Well this whole time I have been freaking out, because I could not find my cord that connects my camera to my computer......then I was looking through my desk and found it....I had already unpacked it and put it away.....wow my brain is not working so well these days. So now I get to blog again using my computer.
Here are some cute pictures of Dax sitting our our new chair in our new living room. Dax rolled over last Sunday (th 4th), belly to back, but hasn't done it since. He can roll onto his side, but doesn't like being on his belly, which is why I think he won't roll over. He had his first good real giggle on Monday (the 5th). This boy is so happy and smiley, I just can't get enough of him. He makes me want to have a hundred more babies just like him.....of course Josh disagrees with that idea!

We celebrated Piper's first birthday a couple weeks ago. Can you find Piper....she is in the middle of all the kids!

Birthday girl

Nona found this shirt for Adra....and it is so true....that girl makes us exhausted!

Sweet smiles

For Genereal Conference weekend we went to Indiana to spend it with Josh's folks, and BC and Hope came too. They had a little fall festival while we were there, and had all these free crafts for kids to do. They got to decorate umbrellas, got hats, made necklaces and also got free pumpkins.....it was a great time and the kids had a blast.....plus it was all FREE!

Oh, they also got free stuffed animals that they could color. What a cute idea!

Dax had a blast

My little pumpkin with her pumpkin

It was a little cold in the shade, so Daddy had to run back to the car and get their coats

The grandkids, minus Dax

Dax and his hat

Then we fed the ducks

We then went back to Nona and Papi's house and roasted marshmallows.....yum!

The girls all wearing Molly's tee's

YEAH!

It is hard to get a good picture of all the kids....at least Sam and Farrah are smiling....2 out of 5 ain't bad

My Dad's birthday was Sunday (the 4th) and we were out of town, and then he was out of town until Wednesday night, so we celebrated it on Thursday. This is the present we got him. There have been a tons of birthday's in the past couple weeks...and many more to come.....the girls are getting used to singing "Happy Birthday" almost on a daily basis.......Happy Birthday to Kirby, GG, Molly, and Dad....I think that is everyone....so far!

Happy birthday DAD!
