I can't think of much that has gone around here this last week. The girls are still loving up their little brother every chance they get! Below is a picture of the kids after Dax's first day at our church. My parents were on vacation that weekend, so I got to get all three kids ready all by myself (poor me....jk). I only had one break down, when Adra came up to me while I was nursing Dax and she was covered in red chapstick! So she had to have an unscheduled bath. We start church at 9am, so I have to be out the door at 8:20 (30 minute drive and 10 mins to get the kids in car seats).
Dax is such a sweetie, and is smiling a lot more these days. Also both his eyes are pretty much cleared up.
Adra loves on her brother a little too hard!
Awwww....they love each other!
What a proud big sister! Farrah calls Dax "my baby"
The girls climbing on one of the many stacks of dry wall in our house. They are supposed to start dry walling on Thursday and on Friday we should have our set closing date! The wiring and plumbing is all done in the house, the two bathtubs are in and our furnace in in. Our siding was delivered also, so they should start putting that up soon. We also have our kitchen counters delivered. The girls love their new house, Farrah always goes straight to her room, and she tells me where she wants her bed and her pillow and her toys, it is so cute! We just try to keep Adra alive when she is wondering through the house (she is a little daredevil)! The girls are so cute together, they are either playing really well together or fighting with each other. Even though they fight, you can tell how much they love each other. The other day Adra wanted to go outside (she can't open the doors - thank goodness!) so Farrah opened the front door for her and lovingly told her, "watch out for the bear". It was so funny. The back story of that is that there has been a black bear spotted around our area (not too close though) so we have told the girls about it.
On Saturday we went on the boat for the first time this year! It was cloudy and even rained a little bit, but it was great to get out on the water. Dax of course slep 90% of the time.
Adra saw us on the tub and wanted a try so the brave little girl climbed on the tub. She was concentrating really hard the whole time and even sat up after awhile to hold onto the handles like mommy and daddy were doing. She is such a stinker!
Dax finally woke up near the end of the boat ride!
Adra "driving" the boat (this picture was taken as we were getting pulled out of the lake)
On Sunday we set up a slip and slide for the girls. Adra wouldn't even try it, but Farrah liked it. Mommy and Daddy used it the most though....I didn't get any pictures, because I was too busy slipping and sliding!
Here are some picture of the girls that my parents took when they were watching them, they thought it was a blast to have a bath in the utility sink.
